We recently bought a home in San Rafael, CA. We have a disabled son and needed to remodel the first-floor bathroom with a tub to a handicapped-accessible bathroom with a walk-in shower and grab bars The bathroom was a Jack and Jill between two bedrooms and was redesigned into two rooms- one with a sink and a second with the toilet and tub. The rooms were separated by a wall and door reducing the overall size of the space. Dominic helped us to turn this into a single large bathroom with a large walk-in shower allowing easy access for a wheelchair or walker. Dominic provided accurate proposal estimates and his staff/subcontractors completed the project in a timely and professional manner. I was involved with all the aspects of the project and enjoyed working with Dominic and the staff to get the project completed. We call Dotto Construction for all jobs large and small and they always complete the project to perfection. Since moving into our new home a year ago Dominic and his team have completely remodeled my kitchen (it's the white marble one shown in the photos), removed walls, repaired and matched parts of the hardwood floor, ran all new Luton lighting systems, built a custom bed frame and hung new yard gates. The kitchen remodel was a big job! Dotto had to remove load-bearing walls and hang a giant beam and steel joist to support the loft above, they moved the fridge and water lines built a pantry and island, and moved a doorway. We had custom cabinets, Calcutta marble, and Wolf/Sub Zero appliances installed; we did NOT have a designer so Dominic had to oversee all these suppliers and make sure we got great service and prices, which we did. The custom bed frame was no easy task either because we wanted it all mitered and wrapped in the same wood as the flooring - not that material's intended use. Nonetheless, the Dotto team created a masterpiece. I'd recommend Dotto Construction for any project without hesitation. They offer great value, realistic timelines, and superior work.
